Dennis John Ewert

Dennis was born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, Canada on March 10, 1939, to the late Jack Ewert and Rose Urbinsky Ewert. He was a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed with DuPont in Canada, Fiber Industries in Salisbury, and Michelin Tire Corporation. Dennis was an avid snow skier, enjoyed bike riding, and loved to travel. He was dedicated and loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Agnes Ewert of the home; two daughters, Lynn Shawver of Wichita Falls, TX and Lesley O’Malley of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandchildren, Kelly and Eric Shawver of Wichita Falls, TX; two brothers, Lloyd Ewert and wife, Merle of Carmen, Manitoba, Canada and Jack Ewert and wife, Pat of Vancouver, Canada; and a sister, Nora Adams of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date in August.
