Mrs. Doris June Smith Vogler’s journey on earth ended Wednesday, March 19, 2014. She was born July 3, 1940 to Lowell and Irene Hunter Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wade V. Vogler Sr. in 2000.
Surviving are her two daughters, Laneta Fowler of Indian Trail, NC and Teresa Fowler of Winston-Salem; one sister, Carol Jessup of Pilot Mountain, NC; two grandchildren, Candice Fowler of Indian Trail, NC and Crystal Barber of Kernersville. Additionally Doris had three great grandchildren, Devyn, Morgan, and Madison Tyner all of Kernersville, NC and her beloved furry companion “Muffin”.
The family will receive friends in the home on Friday March 21st from 11 AM- 1PM at 789 McGregor Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Winston Salem, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
