Dorothy Warren Daugherty

Dorothy was born in McMechen, WV, on April 17, 1934 a daughter to the late Marshall Bernard Warren and Catherine Lewis Warren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Lockwood Daugherty in 2003, and a brother, Harry Warren.

She was a long time member of Clemmons Moravian Church where she assisted in the daycare center. Dorothy was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She will be truly missed by all that knew her.

Dorothy is survived by three children, Dr. Catherine Joann Evans and husband, Dave of Wheeling, WV, Richard Marshall Daugherty of Charlotte, and Carolyn Jean Worthington and husband, Frank, Raleigh; one granddaughter, Tracy Wood and husband, Jeremy of Wheeling, WV, and four great grandchildren, Kegan, Christopher, Conor, and Colin.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 6th, at Clemmons Moravian Church, with Rev. Ray Burke officiating. Burial will be held at the Clemmons Moravian Graveyard following the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 5th, from 6 until 8 PM at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home Clemmons Chapel.
