Ethel Box Hendricks

She was a very active member of the First Nazarene Church for many years.

Mrs. Hendricks liked to tell jokes, laugh and make others laugh.

She lived her earthly life to the fullest but looked forward to the day she could spend her eternal life with Jesus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, A.J. Bickers; daughter, Darlene Bickers Tasonis; and 12 siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include son, David A. Bickers (Pam); grandchildren, Teri Nordstrom Burt, Christine Nordstrom, Doug Bickers (Geri), Ron Bickers (Aimeé), and Catherine Williams (Billy); great grandchildren, Jeffery Burt, Sara, Daniel, Joseph, Emily, and Abby Bickers, and Jasmine Barber; and special friend, Vivian Hopwood of Guntersville, Alabama.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013, 1:00 pm, at Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to the funeral service.

Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall.

The family would like to thank all who cared and supported Ethel over the years.
