Florence was born on October 31, 1952 to the late John and Florence Quinn. She was born with a big personality, always strong-willed and sassy, earning her the nickname “Flossie.”
Flossie worked for AmeriGas for over 20 years. At AmeriGas, she was a customer service specialist, a job she excelled at earning the yearly award for customer service throughout the company 4 times.
In her free time, Flossie loved doing puzzles and brain teasers as well as traveling. She adored going to the beach and was always spontaneous and ready for an adventure. But above all, Flossie loved her family. She was a devoted wife, tender mother, and dedicated “Granny.” Her grandkids truly were her life. Flossie was tough on the outside, but kind and gentle to those who she loved. When her sons were younger, she became the neighborhood mom, always making sure everyone had enough food and a good laugh. Flossie would often say “I have two sons biologically, but many more in my heart.”
Flossie leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph “Joey” Dominick McFadden; sons, Joe (Ashley) McFadden and Stephen (Kaitlyn) McFadden; grandchildren, Guinness and Lucy, and Brooks and Finn; siblings, Margie Quinn, Marty Quinn, Frank Quinn (Judy), Tommy (Barbara) Quinn, Danny (Patti) Quinn, Joe (Jean) Quinn, Tony (Tina) Quinn, Mike (Lynne) Quinn, and Eddie Quinn (Susan); sister-in-law JoAnne Quinn; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones. In addition to her parents, Flossie was preceded in death by her brother, John Quinn.
