Frances was at First Baptist in Rockingham when we went there in 1962. The credit goes to her in establishing our first handbell choir in the early seventies. Thanks to her insistence and dedication our pipe organ was purchased under her guidance in the early seventies.

I owe so much of my love of music to this wonderful woman. As a child in the choirs at First Baptist Church in Rockingham I'm sure I added many gray hairs to her head but she preservered and instilled in me a love of the organ and sacred song. I will forever be indebted to her for giving me those precious gifts! God rest her soul......
