Gardner Beasley Granger

A loving father, grandfather, and friend.

His favorite pastime was watching sports and also took pleasure watching his grandchildren play team sports.

Mr. Granger was a big Virginia Tech fan. He enjoyed going to the games and rooting his team to victory.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Granger retired from RJ Reynolds after 31 years of valuable service.

He is survived by his children, Kim Duncan (Randy) and Jill Robertson (Barry); grandchildren, Matt Duncan, Kelsey Duncan, and Josh Robertson; and brother, Eddie Granger.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013, 11:00 am, at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Ramon Smith officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel.
