
Ginger Marlene Miller passed away on July 13, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a caring nurse, loving sister, magnificent friend and wonderful aunt. Ginger was born to Fred C. Miller, Sr. and Erleene Edwards Miller in Winston-Salem on December 7, 1949. She graduated from North Forsyth High School, and continued to nursing school at Forsyth Technical Community College. Ginger was an OR nurse at Medical Park Hospital until her illness forced her to retire. She was also a certified Massage Therapist and owner of Perfect Touch. Ginger was predeceased by her mother and father; and sister, Phyllis Beckner. She is survived by a brother, Fred C. Miller, Jr. (Nancy); brother-in-law, Jesse Beckner; nieces, Kathy Burton (Nick), Carolina Miller, Mary Elizabeth Miller and Anne Miller; nephew, Mark Beckner (Tara); great-niece, Lindsey Presta (Tony); great-nephews, Logan Burton, Caustin Beckner, Colby Beckner; and a host of very special friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Derrick Davis Cancer Center, and the staff of Forsyth Memorial Hospital (9th floor Oncology) for their special loving and attentive care.
