

Gloria Salinas, 85, of Clemmons and formerly of Texas, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 at her home. She was born December 21, 1935 in Managua, Nicaragua to Jose and Mercedes Salinas Chavez. She enjoyed helping those who need help, very disadvantaged and the poorest of poorest, especially kids. She lived through a civil war, moved to the U.S.A. with two kids to find FREEDOM and PEACE, and A FUTURE FOR HER TWO KIDS, MARTHA (R.I.P.) and CARLOS. She became a U.S. Citizen and was very proud of it. Surviving are her son, Carlos A. Pereira, Jr. and Grandkids, Rafael A. Delgado, Jr. and Hope Mayela Delgado. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 9, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
