

She was born December 4, 1929 in Forsyth County, the daughter and oldest of five children to the late Andrew and Myrtle Shelton Hutchins. She was retired from the F.W. Woolworth Co after 49 years of service and was also the owner of Maple Ridge Mobile Home Park on Hauser Rd. in Lewisville for over 30 years. A member of Friendly Chapel Church in Pilot Mt., she sang in the choir and through many years of being saved, she was an evangelist for her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed babysitting, children, cooking and reading her Bible. A lively person who loved the Lord, her family and those around her, she always helped those in need. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Roy Hutchins, Tommy Hutchins, Elizabeth Plemmons and Frances Stewart.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Lottie Hutchins of East Bend; two Goddaughters, Connie Hall and husband, Harvey of Pinnacle and Frances Hicks and husband, Junior of Siloam and many family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, February 25th at Friendly Chapel Church (Pilot Mtn.) by Pastor Don Collins. Burial will follow at 3 PM in Westlawn Garden of Memories (Clemmons). The family will receive friends on Monday February 24th from 7 to 9 PM at Friendly Chapel Church (Pilot Mtn.)
