Born May 3, 1933, and raised in Clemmons, the son of the Rev C.T. and Gertie Ree Hilton Case, he attended Clemmons Elementary School. For most of his life, he lived in Elkin where he was an employee of Vaughn Bassett, where he walked to work each day and received yearly awards for perfect attendance and job well done. He enjoyed biking and listening to his tapes of Pastor Bobby Robertson. He was well known and loved by all in the community.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Frank Vogler & Sons Clemmons Chapel with burial to follow at Clemmons First Baptist.
