Guy DeCamp, Jr., 89, passed away on August 14, 2018 in Winston Salem.

He was born on December 7, 1928 in Le Grange to the late Guy and Commie Best DeCamp.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Essie Mae DeCamp; brothers, Robert, Carlton, and Edwin DeCamp; and sisters, Kathryn “Kitty” Fulcher and Rowena Moses. He leaves behind his son, Earl (Sharon) DeCamp; stepchildren, Susan (Wayne) Mumford, Diana Goolsby (John) Sykes, Wilma (David) Hare, Eddie Dean (Joan) Sumrell , William “Chip” (Sharol) Sumrell, and Warren Sumrell; grandchildren, Jeffrey DeCamp, Kevin (Ashlee) DeCamp, and Stephanie (Daniel) Adams; great grandson, Avery Wade Adams; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

The family will hold a private graveside service at Greenleaf Memorial Park in New Bern on September 8th and 12 noon.
