Hazel Hobson Wooten

Hazel Hobson Wooten, age 100, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015. She was born in Yadkin County to the late Jack and Betty Hobson. Mrs. Wooten was a longtime member of Brannon Friends Church in Yadkin County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Wooten, Sr. and her son, Willard Wooten, Jr.; brothers, Lonnie, Oscar, Claude, and John Hobson; sisters, Ida Pearl and Cora Wooten. Mrs. Wooten is survived by her son, Dr. Bobby G. Wooten and his wife Juanna of Winston Salem, NC, and her daughter, Joan J. Wooten of Advance, NC. Grandchildren Denise (Dr. Michael) Feldman, Robert (Kristin) Wooten, Jennifer Wooten and Great Grandchildren Morgan & April Feldman, Robert Wooten, Jr., Owen Wooten and Bennett Wooten.

A graveside service will be held, Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, Clemmons, NC, with Dr. Rev. John Smith officiating. Please join the family for a reception from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Bobby Wooten at, 3821 Guinevere Lane, Winston Salem, NC. The family would like to extend great appreciation to the Staff of Bermuda Commons for their loving care.
