He was born in Walkertown, NC to Charlie H. and Mary Neil Harrison.
He served in the US Air Force for 6 years.
He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co.
Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine, a daughter, Cheryl and husband, Reese Bennett and grandson, Joseph Adams and family, also two sisters, Barbara Sutphin of Walkertown and Ruby Martin of Virginia.
Mr. Harrison was a member of Shallowford Baptist Church, where a private family graveside service at his request will be held.
