Jane Caspeth Patton Holton

She was born to John Taylor and Dicey Nichols Patton on March 23, 1932 in Manassas, Virginia. Jane spent time as a nanny for some of the families around here. Jane remained close with the children she nannied. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and she will be missed.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Gilmer Holton, Sr.; son, Lloyd G. Holton, Jr.; daughter, Jane Grace Holton; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Holton; and grandson, David Scalise. She leaves behind her children, John D. Holton, Maureen O. (George) Clayton, and David E. (Donna) Holton; daughter-in-law, Sheila Holton; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Pat) Patton; sister, Ester (Thomas) Blankenship; and many other loved ones and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 10am at Vogler & Sons Funeral Home Clemmons Chapel, 2849 Middlebrook Dr. The family will be receiving friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service. Jane will be buried at Clemmons Moravian God’s Acre.
