Jeffrey Alan Harmon

Jeffrey Alan Harmon peacefully passed away, August 31. 2026 at Northside Hospital Lawrenceville GA, after a brief illness. Jeff was born in Rockingham County NC. on February 13,1961 and is preceded in death by his loving parents Bernie and Ruevonne Harmon and his much-loved infant son Jarrod Alan Harmon.

Jeff leaves behind a loving family of brothers and sisters: Cynthia Lloret and husband Jose, Kenneth Harmon and wife Beth, Christopher Harmon and wife Vicky, and baby sister Rhonda Childress and sister in-law Celina Hill.

Jeff has been married to the love of his life, Carla Harmon for 37 years. They actively enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and entertaining. Family events were special to Jeff and he put much effort into making them extraordinary for everyone young and old.

Jeff throughout his career, traveled extensively and had a successful and fulfilling career as VP of Sales for Flowers Foods, Thomasville GA, of which he had most recently retired.

Jeff and Carla were committed to their belief in Jesus Christ and while living in Clemmons were members of Clemmons Moravian Church for many years. Jeff’s favorite sport was golf and he immensely loved playing with old friends and especially his brothers, Ken and Chris. Jeff and his wife Carla, enjoyed hiking and particularly loved Browns Mountain. Jeff enjoyed the simplicities of life. His favorite peaceful place was sitting in his gazebo listening to the waterfall from his pond and observing the wildlife of which he fed in abundance. Nothing went hungry in Jeff’s habitat.

Uncle Jeff leaves behind many, much-loved, nieces and nephews of whom he was extremely proud.

He especially loved his two Aunts; Gloria and Sheila of whom he enjoyed spending and Celebrating the Holidays.

Jeff’s Celebration of Life will take place on September 12, at 2:00 pm in the Mausoleum at Westlawn Garden of Memory, 6135 Ridgecrest Dr. Winston Salem NC 27103, entombment immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers and on behalf of Jeff’s family, they respectfully request you to: Spend a day with family, or perhaps take an extended walk at sunset, listen to the birds and admire all the beauty nature provides. Jeff often did, and he loved it.
