Mrs. Joann Hudson Tucker

Mrs. Joann Hudson Tucker, 69, of Pfafftown passed away on February 13, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston Odway Hudson and Nellie Elizabeth Beasley; and two brothers, Milton and Irvin Hudson. Her immediate survivors are her husband, J. Delano Tucker of the home; son, Dwayne A. Tucker of the home; daughter, Angela Johnson and husband Michael of Tobaccoville; sisters, Lillie Anderson and husband Roger of Winston-Salem; Geraldine Lawson of Kernersville; Virginia Gant and husband David of Belews Creek; Wilma Stilley and husband Raymond of Winston-Salem; Cathy Smith of Charlotte; brothers, Herbert Hudson and wife Judy of Winston-Salem; David Hudson and wife Cindy of Taylorsville; and her extended family members. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and sister, and she will be missed by her family and friends. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
