John Joseph Jordan

Mr. John Joseph Jordan, 77, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Jack was born February 16, 1937, in Manhattan, NY a son to the late Thomas Jordan and the late Margaret Harrison Jordan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jean Marie Jordan, one sister and two brothers.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Jack had a successful 30 year career in Industrial Sales. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, and loved his dogs.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eleanor Jordan of the home, who stood by his side to the end; daughter, Cathy Williamson and husband, Bill of Blowing Rock, NC; grandsons, Jordan and Patrick Williamson; son, Donald V. Jordan of Concord, NC; one brother, Tom Jordan and wife, Jeanette of Scotia, NY; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held 11 AM, Friday, September 12th, at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael J. Buttner officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 11th from 6 until 8 pm at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home Clemmons Chapel.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Audra Souther, for the many hours of nursing care and friendship she provided to Jack in the last year of his life.
