Lillie Louise Cottrill Ray

Lillie Louise Cottrill Ray, 82 years old, formally of Wilkes-Barre, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday January 21, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Charleston, WV on November 8, 1941.

She proudly served her country in the United States Marines. After her discharge, she was an active member in the Marine Corps League.

Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Ray; daughter, Joy Jean McCary; and grandson John Paul Thompson. She leaves behind her sons, David Grocholski (Mary Thressa), Larrie (Beverly) Grocholski, and Jonathin (Kim) Grocholski; grandchildren, Tiffany McCary, Megan (Michael) Lowe, and Michael (Beth) Grocholski; and great grandchildren, Mason, Brenna, Parker, Hannah, and Holden.

Lillie will be laid to rest with Fred in Jacksonville, Florida.
