

Lindsay Lee Robertson, 88, of Winston Salem, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026. He was born on October 1, 1938 in Winston Salem and was the son of the late Howard Paul and Vallie Coley Robertson. Lindsay was the loving husband of Dora Dianne Hargett Robertson.
Lindsay served our country in the United States Air Force. When he was a young man, he enjoyed riding his horse, June. Lindsay loved to sing and his heart found great joy in singing with his church choirs. He was talented in woodworking and fixing furniture and had an immaculate garden, both vegetables and floral. He always loved helping people, as he demonstrated for many years delivering meals for seniors through Forsyth Meals on Wheels. Lindsay was also deeply involved in the churches he attended, both Trinity Methodist and most recently Ardmore Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, David, John, and Ernest.
Lindsay is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Robertson; daughter, Sylvia Fisher and husband Nathan; one grandson, Alex Fisher; his sister, Jane Wall; his brother, Elisha Robertson and wife Carolyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Frank Vogler and Sons in Clemmons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lindsay Robertson’s memory to Trellis Supportive Care in Winston Salem, which provided extraordinary compassion, comfort and support to Lindsay and our family.
