Mrs. Louise Moore Pugh

Louise Moore Pugh, 82, passed away on September 4, 2010 in Falls Church, Virginia. She lived in Winston-Salem all her life before moving to Gainesville, Virginia in 2009 to be with her sons and their families. She was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and worked as a school teacher for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public School system. She was preceded in death by her parents John A. and Virginia S. Moore. Her immediate survivors are her son John R. Pugh, Jr. and wife Elaine and their children David, Anna, and Virginia all of Manassas, Virginia; and son William C. Pugh and wife Linda of Haymarket, Virginia. She was loved by all, adored by her family, and thought of by many others as “mom”. Friends may visit on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel. A graveside service will he held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Forsyth Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Burkhead United Methodist Church, 5250 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27106.
