Luisa Maria Miyares, 38 of Winston Salem passed away May 16, 2019 at Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home after an extended battle with cancer. She was born June 26, 1980 in High Point, NC. Luisa attended Midway College in Kentucky where she majored in Equine Studies, she also had an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. Luisa enjoyed playing music, horse back riding, drawing and spending time at the beach. Survivors left to cherish her memory include her mother; Kathy Hathcock Miyares, father; A.J. Miyares, sister; Jamie Miyares Botta(Louis), niece Lucille Botta and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
A Celebration Of Life will be held Monday, May 20 at 2PM at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Clemmons.

So many years of memories of Luisa “Weeza”. My heart is broken and I wish I could hug her one more time. I’m praying for everyone that loved her. We were all blessed to have had her in our lives.

It doesn’t even seem possible that a young precious life of our love one slipped away this past Thursday - God took her from the pain of cancer -Our niece Luisa was young, vibrant and beautiful - she loved her family. Luisa was ready to meet her Savior but as she battle with cancer she always had a uplifted spirit and hope of healing ...God poured the gift of complete healing this past Thursday as He took her home to be with him ...as we mourn the loss of Luisa heaven has gained a new angel ...please keep the Hathcock’s and Miyares family in your prayers ....Rest in Peace Luisa you will be missed
