

Madeline was born in Wilkes County, NC on June 28, 1927, a daughter to the late J.E. Hamby and the late Dona Andrews Hamby. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O. Tesh, three brothers, and four sisters. She was a long time member of Clemmons First Baptist Church and a part of the quilting ministry. Madeline retired from Lucent Technology after many years of service. She enjoyed fellowshipping with her friends.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Tesh of Mocksville and David Tesh (Robin) of Lewisville, NC; one sister, Doris Miles of Wilkesboro and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 23rd with Rev. Robbie Phillips officiating in the Chapel of Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home, Clemmons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Clemmons First Baptist Church Quilt Ministry, 3530 Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.
