OBITUARY
Marion Travis Howard
February 15, 1934 – March 16, 2021
M Travis Howard, 87, Clemmons left his worldly life on March 16, 2021. Travis was born February 15, 1934 to the late Clarence A and Pansy Howard in Clemmons, NC .
He was known as a plastering contractor for 46 years in businesss, first with his father (CA Howard and sons) then with brother as Howard Brothers. He was a member of Centenary Methodist Church in Clemmons where he built the parsonage. He enjoyed hunting with special friend Ford Snow, prior to his declining health. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, ACC basketball and Atlanta Braves baseball.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Howard was preceeded in death by siblings: Eloise Myers, Casper Howard of Clemmons, Peggy Muto and JoAnn Douthit of Winston Salem. He is survived by wife Lavell of 69 years and children Gene Howard and Pam (Farmer), sisters Inez Watkins- Clemmons and Brenda Weiss-Durham, and six nieces/nephews.
The family wish to thank the staff of Well Care Hospice for all their support during his illness.
A private service will be held on Saturday, March 20 at Centenary Methodist Church, Clemmons.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you Lavell. You both were always there for me and my children and we can never thank you enough for all the love you have given over the years. Travis was a wonderful kind hearted man and will be deeply missed beyond any words I can express. I am sure God has a very special place for him now.
