

Mrs. Mary Bannatye Bryant, 76, of Clemmons passed away, Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mary was born November 27, 1938 in Earfalls, Ontario Canada, a daughter to the late Charlie and Alice Bannatye. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four siblings.
When Mary was able she attended Clemmons Moravian Church. She was employed and retired from JC Penney after 30 years of service. She was an avid bowler and member of several bowling leagues. She also loved animals. Mary was very outgoing, with a positive mindset in life, even during her health issues. Supporting her husband in the military allowed her to travel, see, and live in numerous places and countries. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Bryant-Sills and husband, Brooks of Lewisville; grandson, Baird Sills, of White Plains, MD; brother, Pilot “Patty” Bannatye of Canada and an extended family in Canada.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Clemmons with Pastor Ray Burke officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Miller Street Dialysis, for all of the love, care and support given to mom for the many years she was in your care. She was always very complimentary of you all. Thank you for loving mom and making her feel special and loved.
