Mary Alderman Kessler

Mary was born in Columbia, SC and grew up in Roanoke, VA. She raised her family in Winston-Salem, NC. She was an incredible mom and a loving wife who always placed the needs of her family over her own. She had a gentle countenance and was sensitive to the needs of others. Mary enjoyed reading, relaxing, and spending time with her family - particularly her children, grandchildren, and parents. Mom relished the opportunity for a good couch cuddle with her family. If you were to ask Mary the thing she was most proud of in the world, she would say her children and her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and let her faith be an example to family and friends. We are thankful for her trust in Jesus Christ, the forgiver of sin, who promises eternal life through faith in Him.

She is survived by her parents Robert and Amelia Alderman, husband Jimmy Kessler, her children John and Rachel Kessler, and Meghan and Bradley Kuebler, grandchildren Grady Kuebler, Lola Kuebler, Jack Kessler and Cora Kessler, and siblings Susan Bailey, Lewis Alderman, Anne Mullen

A service to celebrate her life is scheduled for 1PM on Thursday, July 30 at Calvary Baptist Church, 134 S Peace Haven Rd, Winston-Salem.
