Michael Blake Nesser “Mike,” 50, of Clemmons, NC, passed away suddenly at the home on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Born in Spartanburg, SC. He is the son of the late Diane Nesser Austin and Jim Austin and Eddie Nesser. He is survived by his wife, Allison, children, Kelly and Matthew, and sister, Kerri. Mike was a fabulous uncle to his nieces and nephews, Emily, Jonathan, and Kaitlyn Moore (Boiling Springs, SC), Megan and Michelle Watson (Etobicoke, Ontario), and Harrison and Connor Petley (Owen Sound, Ontario).
Mike was Licensed Professional Counselor with Novant Psychiatry. He was a member of New Hope Church in Clemmons, NC. Mike graduated from Spartanburg High School in Spartanburg, SC, and received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wake Forest University.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 4:00 pm in the afternoon, at New Hope Church, 2570 Harper Rd, Clemmons, NC, 27012. Mike was an avid fan of sports particularly Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Please feel free to represent your favorite team.
