

She was born in Patrick County, VA a daughter to the late John Thompson and the late Notie Puckett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey lee Glenn, Jr. and eight brothers and sisters.
Mildred was a proud lifelong member of First Christian Church and a member of the Opportunity Sunday School Class. She was a devoted and dedicated homemaker, being a wife, raising her children, and always putting her family first, afterwards Mildred then started her career as a Real Estate agent. She was an avid Wake Forest fan, enjoyed going to the beach and going on unplanned trips with her husband. Mildred was a loving, caring, and selfless, daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She has now gone to be with her Lord and her Sweetie.
She is survived by a son, Lee Glenn and his wife, Pam of Lewisville and their daughters, Griffin Morrisey and Brynn Swayngim; a daughter, Karen Dingwall and her husband, Derrick of Lewisville and their children, Joshua Gentry, Jeremy Gentry, Christina Dingwall, Christopher Dingwall, and Marisa Dingwall; a great granddaughter, Mariah Gentry; a brother, Turner Thompson of Ararat, VA; a brother in law, Tom Glenn and a sister in law, Mildred S. Glenn; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2 PM, Sunday, April 19th at First Christian Church with Reverend Ryan Thrasher and Reverend Joshua Gentry officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM, Saturday, April 18th at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home Reynolda Chapel.
