OBITUARY
Nga Pham Nguyen
February 26, 1960 – January 2, 2021
Mrs. Nga Pham “Pam” Nguyen, 60, passed away January 2, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Nguyen was born February 26, 1960 in Vietnam to the late Tuoi Van Pham and Nang Thi Nguyen. After immigrating to the United States in 1980, Mrs. Nguyen married her husband in 1981. They later made their home in Clemmons and, leaning on an unfailing work ethic, worked tirelessly to support their small businesses including The Frameshop and Baskin-Robbins.
Mrs. Nguyen enjoyed working out with her friends at the Women’s Wellness Center and taking Zumba. She was well known for her delicious cooking, exceptional advice, inspiring stories, and her avid gardening skills. She loved to travel but loved being at home in her community most of all either spending time with her grandchildren, family, or numerous “sisters”. She showed unconditional love and support for her extended family in Canada, California, Illinois, Australia, and Vietnam. Mrs. Nguyen’s bright personality, generous smile, and quick wit made her an instant and loyal friend to everyone she met.
Mrs. Nguyen’s memory will be kept alive through her husband, Chau Nguyen of Clemmons; son, Chris Nguyen (Taylor Nguyen) of Durham; grandchildren, Max and Amelia Nguyen of Durham, Jacqui and Lauren Nguyen of Illinios, Breanna and Suzanna Dinh of Ontario; sisters, Lan Pham Vo (Son Vo) of Clemmons, Anh Ngoc Pham of Vietnam, Mai Tuyet Pham of Vietnam; brother, Luan Tuong Pham of Clemmons; nieces, Lisa Diem Pham, Nicole Nguyen (Tyn Nguyen), Dinh Thi Kim Thoa (Andy Ngo), Linh Nguyen Pham; nephews, Tommy Vo, Loc Tien Ong, Loc Khanh Ong, Loc Quoc Ong, Tru Cong Nguyen along with cousins and extended family Phuong Bach Phan, Linh Bolt (Bryan Bolt), Ethan and Kyle Bolt, Tra Mi Tran (Hai Tran), Dylan, Leann, and Brandon Tran.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 7 from 10am-1pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons. Guests are asked to use masks and practice social distancing. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations can be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
