Pamela Susan Cunning

She was born April 7, 1948 in Jacksonville, FL a daughter of Dr. Peter Somers and Pamela Thompson Scott. She married Mike Cunning on March 1, 1967 in Charlotte. He survives.

Also surviving are three children, Eve Cunning of Raleigh, Cindy (Chris) Craig of Lewisville, Chris (Amy) Cunning of Lexington Park, MD; two sisters, Valerie (Steve) Woodard of Smithfield, Mimi (Ken) McMillan of Vancouver, WA; one brother Michael T. (Karen) Scott of Columbus, IN; four grandchildren, John DeGroof, Jeff DeGroof, Lea Craig, Jason Craig; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Dr. Floyd and Frances Somers Scott; grandmother, Elizabeth Thompson; her parents; and one brother, Johnny Scott.

Susan graduated from Salem Academy in 1966. She was most recently employed by Forsyth Medical Center as a Registered Nurse.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
