Richard Gary Lamb

Richard was born on May 22, 1938, in Meriden, Connecticut, to the late Beatrice Ritchotte Lamb and Clifton Lamb.

On June 16, 1962, Richard married Juanita Devoe Lamb, and together they built a life filled with family, love, and many cherished memories.

After graduating from Wilcox High School, Richard enjoyed a successful career as a drafting engineer, working for various manufacturing companies throughout Connecticut. His technical skill, dedication, and strong work ethic served him well throughout his career.

Richard is survived by his sons, Jay Lamb and his wife, Christine Lamb, of Clemmons, North Carolina, and Chris Lamb and his wife, Diane Lamb, of Southington, Connecticut.

He was a loving and devoted grandfather to Zachary Lamb of Clemmons, North Carolina; Hanna Lamb of Bethesda, Maryland; and Sarah Lamb of New York City. He treasured his grandchildren and especially enjoyed spending time with them in nature and spoiling his beloved grand-pups.

Richard had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hunting and had a special place in his heart for the many animals and wildlife that found their way into his yard. He found great happiness simply being outdoors, tending to his garden, and enjoying the natural world around him.

Those who knew Richard will fondly remember his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to laugh, tell a good joke, and bring a smile to those around him. His fun-loving personality and ability to find humor in everyday life made time spent with him especially memorable.

Above all, Richard will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His devotion to his family, wonderful sense of humor, love of nature, and the countless memories he created with those closest to him will be lovingly remembered and cherished for years to come.
