Richard Randall Maney

Richard was born in Forsyth County to Bruce and Hessie Nance Maney. He retired from Peidmont Airlines where he worked as an engineer. In his spare time, Richard could be found searching for collectables and special finds. He definitely was a master of all trades.

He was a devoted husband, and would have done anything to ensure the happiness of his wife, Mary Ann Baker Maney.

Richard leaves behind his wife; children, Randy (Teresa) Maney, Dee (Jerry) Goode, Tim (Pam) Maney, Terry (Hope) Maney, and Dawn (Todd) Boyer; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth (Joe) Guyton; brother-in-law, Charles (Carol) Baker; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Ellis.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Tom Nussbaum. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow the services at Mountain Park Cemetery.
