So sorry to just hear of this. Ruth was a wonderful friend and neighbor for the short time we lived in W-S, and kept in touch until her last health problems. Thanks Kathy for all your care and to Al for his devoted attention. She will be missed!

Oh my, I hate I am just now seeing this. She was a mentor in business for me and a good friend many years ago. I do hate I did not know of this until now. She was a good woman.

Ruth was our neighbor in Peace Haven Estates before we moved in 1978. She and I were also fellow Wachovians and carpooled to work. She and Franklin were great neighbors and we also shared a love for our little dogs. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sorry to hear about my friend and golfing buddy, Ruth Mathis. She and I were officers at the same time with the Tanglewood Ladies Golf Association. We went on golfing trips, played tournments, and enjoyed social gathering. She was one sweet lady, the only thing I will not miss is her driving to golfing events when she was telling a story or just talking, esp. to those in the back seat. Love You Ruthie.
