

Sally and her family moved to Clemmons, NC in 1973. She and husband, Lee, retired to Vero Beach, FL in 1988. Upon Lee’s death in 2014, Sally returned to North Carolina to be near family. She is survived by her children-- Michael Klinetobe of Rocky Mount, NC; Laurie Crowe (Greg) of Rutherfordton, NC; Daniel Klinetobe of Yorba Linda, CA; Carol Baker (Ted) of Morristown, TN; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Beverly Bridges of Denver, CO and LeAnn Story of Los Altos, CA.
Sally and Lee were active members in the Vero Beach community including the Environmental Learning Center, Hospice, Indian River Hospital Foundation, and Holy Cross Catholic Church. Sally and Lee were lifetime members of the North Carolina Zoo. Sally was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in
Clemmons, NC, where she was a dedicated volunteer with the money counting team, preparation of donations to Catholic Charities, bereavement committee, outreach program and crafters group.
Sally was an avid reader of all types of books and enjoyed crossword puzzles and the Wall Street Journal on a daily morning basis. She always appreciated the beauty of God’s creations in nature.
The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons on Friday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m. Family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. The burial will be immediately following at Westlawn cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a reception following the burial at Holy Family Catholic Church.
