Sandra Lavern Williams, 53, of Winston-Salem passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012. She was born in Forsyth County to Eli J. Spillman and Earlene Virginia Wilson Spillman. Mrs. Sandra Williams was a member of Macedonia Holiness Church of God of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. She was employed with Wake Forest Baptist Health as a supervisor for 16 years and Forsyth Tech for 15 years. Mrs. Sandra Williams was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Charles Morrison. She is survived by her husband of 6 years, John T. Williams Jr.; stepson, John T. Williams III; five step grandchildren; sisters, Debra Hayes Gore and Robin L. Brooks; brother, Kenneth Major Spillman; nephews, Antonio Spillman, Rommel Morrison, Marlon Morrison, Brandon Spillman, Andre Gore, and Willie Gore; nieces, Latoya Watkins, Stephanie Phelps, Keisha Sturgues, Latasha Spillman, and Tiffany Spillman; grand nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends. A funeral service will be on Saturday, July 21, at 1:00 p.m., at Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel with Minister Antonio Spillman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
