Alan Anderson passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2026. He was born to the late Irwin and Gertrude Anderson.
Alan was a kind and loving person who enjoyed working on computers, fishing, virtual reality golf, and cooking. He was known as the “Best Chef” ever by those who loved him. Alan also had a special love for his pets, who brought him great joy and companionship.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sisters, Debra Anderson; Sharlene Fouser (Reggie); and his beloved cousins, Jackie Rothstein, Gary Rothstein, Joel Rothstein, and Lori Glassman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Gertrude Anderson, and his cousins, Fred Rothstein and Marc Rothstein.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Mount Olive Cemetery in Solon, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: an Animal Rescue of your choice.
Shiva will be at the home of Debra Anderson on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 3-7pm.
Alan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
