Alla Shulman

January 12, 1938 – January 19, 2026

Alla Shulman passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026. She was born on January 12, 1938, in Ukraine to Saul and Freyda Volfson.

Alla had a deep love for life and its pleasures. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, dining out at fine restaurants, reading, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Semyon Shulman; her two children, Leo Shulman (Elizabeth) and Stan Shulman (Irina); and her beloved grandchildren, Stephanie, Alex, Ashleigh, Shannon, Jillian, Heidi, Mary Jo, Mya, and Janelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Saul and Freyda Volfson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.

Please join us for a celebration of Alla’s life and a meal of consolation following the service at Vitalia of Highland Heights, 305 Bishop Road, Highland Heights, OH 44143, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Arrangements are under the direction of Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
