Alvin Harold Jaffe of Beachwood, OH and Jerusalem, Israel, died Sunday February 28, 2016. Devoted husband of Arlene Ruth (nee Seavey); beloved father of Elliot, Peter (Janet), Dena (Hal) Hirschfield, Tova Jaffe (Jonathan Frenkel); loving grandfather of Rafael (Avital ), Asaf, Boaz, Naftali, Hillel, Gideon, Yehuda, Sari, Tani, Dafna, Annie, Jonny, Evan, Sarah, Rachel, Shuli, Mayer, Nava, Micah, and 2 great grandsons, dear brother of Alice Zipkin of Cincinnati, OH and Eliezer Jaffe of Jerusalem, Israel and Dr. Jack W. Jaffe of Beachwood and the late Arthur Jaffe; caring son of the late Sarah and Henry Jaffe. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 12 Noon at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Jaffe residence, 2570 Deborah Dr., Beachwood Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM, Wed., Thurs. and Sun. 8 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 4 pm, 6 pm to 9 pm, Fri. 8 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 3 pm and Sat. 8 pm to 9:30 pm.
