Ann Edith Arnoff

ANN EDITH ARNOFF (nee Kolisch), born 3/8/1926, passed away 9/24/2017. wife of the late Dr. E. Leonard, proud mother of Janice Arnoff (dec'd) and Susan Arnoff Spohr (Andrew), devoted and loving Nana to Alex and Rachel Spohr. Ann was a devoted wife who was totally supportive of her husband's career and hosted many dinner parties for the faculty and graduate students of the College of Business Administration of the University of Cincinnati while Len served as Dean. Ann was committed to Sue's competitive ice skating and spent countless hours in cold ice rinks around the country. Ann graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Occupational Therapy and became a psychiatric occupational therapist. She believed in contributing fully to the communities she lived in and served as President for Bat Yam Temple of the Island, the Sanibel Community Association, Nutmeg Village Condo Association, CROW (Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife) and served on the Board of the Sanibel Captiva Community Foundation. Ann was a long-standing Chair for the "Taste of the Island" fundraiser on behalf of CROW and Chair of "Shell Fair" on behalf of the Sanibel Community Association. Ann believed that the year of your birth and the date of your death didn't mean as much as the "dash" in between. She lived her life according to the belief that the quality of your life meant even more than the number of years here on Earth. Ann made the most of her long life. She touched many people and improved the communities she lived in. Services will be held Wednesday, September 27 at 11:00 AM at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Heights, OH. Interment Zion Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the Goodman Residence 23600 S. Woodland Rd., Shaker Heights OH WEDNESDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 7 PM.
