

Annette Paley, longtime resident of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2025.
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Annette was a proud first-generation American who made Cleveland her home for over 60 years. She spent her life building lasting friendships, building her family, and contributing to her community.
Annette was devoted to her work with the National Council of Jewish Women, Cleveland Section, where she found deep purpose and friendship.
She married Dr. Leslie H. Paley in 1957, and together they raised three sons — Steven Paley (Dr. Cyndee Bloom), Dr. Michael Paley, Rabbi Andrew Paley (Deborah Niederman), along with her six grandchildren — Benji, Jessie, Matthew, Molly, Hannah, and Sammy — and great-grandson Judah - will remember her with love and gratitude.
Annette cherished her friends, her collections of hand bells and Lladro figurines, and the joy of a good conversation. She will be remembered for her strong opinions, her holiday cooking, and her devotion to those she loved.
Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumon-Bookatz Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 at 2PM, with interment following at Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive family, friends and guests at 2286 Ardleigh Drive, Cleveland Heights, 44126 at 6:30 PM on Wednesday October 22nd and Thursday October 23rd.
Donations in her memory may be made to the National Council of Jewish Women, Cleveland Section, or to the charity of your choice.
