Barbara was the beloved wife of Donald Kogan, cherished sister of Toby Barken Joseph (James), mother of Melanie Kogan Deckman and Evan Kogan (Jane), loving grandmother to Shayna Deckman (John), Nora Kogan, Henry Kogan (Lindsay) and David Deckman.
Barbara graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and attended Ohio State University. She once appeared on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand.
She maintained treasured friendships from her early childhood years and from Wiley Junior High School to the present.
A celebration of life will be held on Oct. 3 in Boca Raton, Fla.
