

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Beatrice was the daughter of Esther Sokol (Grossman) and David Golombek. She was the sister of Frank Golombek (deceased) and Max Grossman (deceased). Beatrice was married to Melvin Rosensaft, a Chemical Company Executive and College Professor (deceased). Beatrice had three children; David Norman Rosensaft, Lester Jay Rosensaft (deceased) and Emily Rosensaft Yen. Beatrice is survived by her four grandchildren, Mia Rosensaft Brown, Melissa Rose Yen, Monique Ariel Yen and Emma Melanie Rosensaft.
Beatrice or “Bea” was charismatic women who loved to sing, especially opera and Jewish folk songs. She had a fantastic sense of style and loved to shop for shoes, purses and antique jewelry. A homemaker in Leominster Massachusetts for most of her adult life, Beatrice moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1983 after her husband, Melvin passed away.
In Boca Raton, Beatrice had an active social life and was an avid walker. She was a regular staple at B’nai Torah Congregation, often giving the Cantor competition for the loudest voice in the service. Bea spent her last years the Cleveland, Ohio area to be close to her daughter and grandchildren.
The family will have a private burial in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
