BETTY STEIN, age 88, passed away on January 28, 2016, at Heather Hill Nursing Home in Chardon. She was born January 20, 1928 in Cleveland to the late Dora and Sam Fink. Betty married Alvin Stein December 25, 1949. She will be missed dearly by her husband, Alvin, of 66 years; her daughter Abbie J. Echle (Jan) of Mentor; her son Robert N. Stein of St. George, Utah; grandchildren Dana Canzone (Tony) and Michael J. Echle (Jessica); great-granddaughters Mia, Hailey, and Elliana. She was preceded in death by brothers David, Norman, and Joseph. Betty Stein was a devoted employee of Pick-n-Pay for 33 years. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE PRIVATE. The family would like to thank Heather Hill Care Community's staff, nurses, and aides, for their loving care and attention for the past 17 months.
