Blair Dickey-White

July 23, 1988September 10, 2020

Blair Dickey-White, age 32, of Beachwood, OH, attorney and owner of Scout and Molly's Boutique in Pinecrest, passed away on September 10, 2020. Blair was born July 23, 1988.

Blair is survived by her loving parents Dr. Howard & Linda Dickey-White; dearest sister of Nate Dickey-White of NY; adored grand-daughter of Sylvia White and Morris White (deceased), George and Margaret Dickey (both deceased); beloved niece of Ray White, Miriam (Michael) Miller and Shelley (John) Brennan; cherished cousin of Rebekka (Dave) Finley, Ian (Yao) Miller, Gabriel Miller, Michael Hamill and Brian (Amanda) Hamill; dearly loved friend of many.

Blair's life was full of laughter, music, love, and adventure. She traveled the world with her family by her side, and made friends with ease in every country she visited, from Turkey to India. She was charismatic, funny, and the kindest soul to those who knew her. Blair never turned down any opportunity to help someone in need. She was forcefully compassionate, and relentlessly generous.

Blair loved to sing, dance, and make her loved ones laugh. She was a loving older sister to her brother Nate, and was her mother and father's best friend in the world. She was adored by babies, children, and her sweet labradoodle, Winnie. Blair was brilliant, with many interests; she was an attorney, as well as a fashion maven who owned a beloved local boutique.

Blair was loved fiercely by her family and friends, who will think of her and honor her memory every day. She was and always will be loved.

Private funeral services for family only. The family requests NO VISITATION.

Burial in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Chagrin Falls, OH.

I was fortunate to have known Blair since she was a little girl. she presented to my office as the cutest/bubbliest/happiest girl ever to walk into my office. Even at such a young age she could make others smile/and make them feel important. She was bright, inquisitive and a joy to be around. My heart and love goes out to Linda/Howard and Nate. May her memory be a blessing. Love richard

Howard and Family,
It is with profound sadness to learn of the passing of your daughter. Although I did not know Blair, reading the many wonderful comments about her magnifies the loss all who knew her must feel. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Blair skated with my daughter Kim and I often shared a bleacher seat with Linda, watching our girls practice their spins and jumps. In a sport where competition can foster all sorts of poor social behavior, I was glad Kim could be friends with Blair, who I saw as a role model for hard work and modesty in skating. I see those qualities served her well in her later life and I would not have expected less. My deepest condolences to the Dickey-White family.

My deepest condolences to the Dickey-White Family. The shock that I experienced upon reading Blair’s obituary in today’s Cleveland Plain Dealer is immense. I am sad beyond belief, but want the family to know that your children, Blair and Nate, gave me immense reason to smile and to have worked toward being the best that I could be, at the time, as a (Spanish) teacher at Hawken (2000-2010). Your published picture captured her perfectly; and, I will remember her fondly. Heather Williams Nelson
