Blanche S. Beckerman

She was a hard worker, she loved to volunteer, especially at the Hillcrest Hospital gift shop, also loved shopping, going out to eat, walking, swimming, and being in the sun. Known as a deep and sincere person, once you met her, she was your friend forever.

She was the beloved wife of the late Bernie Beckerman and will be dearly missed by her children Marc Rockwell, David Rockwell, Leslie (Jeff) Gordon Bassett, and stepchildren Rochelle (Arnie) Cohn, Robin (John) Barr, and Joni (Todd) Giterman.

Blanche was also the devoted grandmother to Jennifer (Nick) Pishko, Jessica Rockwell, Marci (Andy) Engardio, Ryan Bassett, Lindsay (Dan) Shaw, Kimi (Chris) Baduria, and step grandchildren, Michael (Michele) Cohn, Erika (Michael) Hayes, Robert Cohn, Hannah (Bill) Franzolino, Alex (Alyssa) Giterman, Eli (Elise) Giterman, 5 great grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Irving and Ella Rosenstein, sister of Stanley Rosenstein and former husband, Abe Gordon.

Graveside services will be on Monday, June 8th at the Mt. Olive Cemetery, at 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, OH at 1:30 pm.

Family will receive friends for Shiva at The Village (Clubhouse), 26000 Village Drive, in Beachwood from 3-7pm.
