Bonnie was deeply involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives, attending their plays, sporting events, and eagerly awaiting their return from school, greeting them with plenty of snacks and love. She had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances and was known for her warmth and friendliness.
Throughout her life, Bonnie was active in her community—serving on the PTA during her children’s years at Beachwood public schools, playing Mah Jongg regularly, and enjoying annual trips to Florida. She was known for her pristine, organized home and her impeccable style, always dressed perfectly for any occasion. These qualities reflected her values, which she lovingly passed down to her family.
Bonnie will be dearly missed by her husband, Aaron; children, Ellen (Chanan) Bergman and Marc (Allison) Solomon; and her beloved grandchildren, Aliza, Alexandra, Eden Bergman, and Ava and Daniel Solomon. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Eric (Dianne) Solsky; nieces Hannah and Sarah Solsky; nephews David and Danny Solsky. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, David and Annette Solsky, and her brother, Herbert Solsky.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Berkowitz Kumin Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, Ohio.
Shiva will be observed at the Bergman residence on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
