Charles had a deep appreciation for classical music and took great pride in being a family historian. He was a devoted fan of all Cleveland sports teams and generously volunteered his time at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, an organization that reflected his lifelong curiosity and love of learning.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Kinstlinger, and sister-in-law, Amy Kinstlinger; his nephews, Nathan Kinstlinger (Jill), Ian Kinstlinger, and Russ Kinstlinger. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery in Solon, Ohio.
Contributions in Charles’s memory may be made to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
Shiva will be held at the home of Robert Kinstlinger, 5251 Cheswick Dr. Solon, Ohio 44139 following the service until 7:00 pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
