I've lost touch with you over these years but feel the need to express my deep sympathy to you at Dave's passing. The Oberlin chapter of my life was full of good memories of people like you, two.

"Dave" as I came to call him, was an important mentor during my  youth, growing up in Oberlin.  I first came to know him (and you) when you were teachers of mine at the "junior high" in Oberlin.  We continued our relationship through the years through tennis and just 'catching up' whenever we saw each other.  He was a kind, thoughtful, interested-in-others person and I cherish memories of time we spent together.  I give thanks for the honor of having known him.  You are in my heart as you embrace your grief.
