It's with great sadness that I write this.  David and I were best friends from the time we met in Kindergarten at Belvoir Elementary School, until we graduated from Cleveland Heights High school.  Even the first few years of college I considered David one of my best friends.  Even though I haven't seen David in 30 years, I was very sad to read this in the local Cleveland newspaper.  My sympathies to David's wife, children, parents, siblings and all of his extended family.  David was truly a great friend and a "mensch".  My thoughts and prayers are with the Ozan family.

My deepest condolence goes out to David's family.  David was not only an amazing manager but true friend and impacted me and my families life in a positive way. Heaven has gained an amazing guardian angel.

David was a strong pillar for our community and will be truly missed by the Wilson family.  David and his family were always generous with their time and commitment in helping others including coaching our son (John-Paul) and watching our dog. I met David back when Noah was in kindergarten because Noah and my daughter, Abigail P, were classmates in Mrs. Barad's class.  He was so involved in his boy's life. He was always there, for every activity, for every event.  I will always remember his smile; he always wore it even when he had his surgery and was walking in pain with a cane due to his hip.  He will be very missed and he left wonderful memories behind.  I pray for the entire Ozan family and ask God to lace them with strength and acceptance...

David was a wonderful person to work with at Nielsen. He had a can-do attitude and was always so upbeat about the challenges we addressed on a daily basis. He was the proud face of Nielsen with the sample homes in Miami and throughout the state of Florida.  He was also a great manager of people and recognized talent. My deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

David was a great friend and neighbor to my parents. I never had to worry because I knew he was always there to help them out if need be. Whenever I asked what they needed their response was typically "David took care of that already." David will be very missed and always remembered.

My heartfelt condolences to all of David's family.  I had the opportunity to work with David when Nielsen changed the methodology in Miami to people meters.  This was an enormous task for David and his team.  David was a pleasure to work with and he inspired the team with his leadership and unfailingly optimistic outlook. After the launch of the new methodology and many, many meetings, David arranged a wonderful thank you celebration for the team with a boat ride on the Intercoastal...this was the highlight of all my time in Miami.  May you rest in peace, David, and thank you for everything.

David was an unbelievable colleague and mentor.  He has left us way too early and will be forever missed by all the lives he has touched, which is many.  "I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people." Psalm 116:14
