

David Lee Wallach, age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Born on April 28, 1955, to the late John and Marianne Wallach, David lived a life defined by devotion to his family, loyalty to his friends, and enthusiasm for the things he loved most.
His two daughters were the center of his world and his greatest pride. David worked for many years in sales at Woodhill Supply Company, where he formed lasting relationships and earned the admiration and respect of colleagues and customers alike.
A devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and a proud Deadhead, David found great joy in music, football, and reading history. He especially cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Baron, who held a special place in his heart and whom he deeply missed.
David is survived by his loving daughters, Paige Elyse Collier (Brent) and Leah Sara Shawlson (Lucas); his cherished granddaughter, Naomi; and his sisters, Susan Ernstoff (Brian) and Gwen Green (Steven).
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marianne Wallach.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery Chapel, with interment to follow.
Shiva will be observed at the home of his daughter, Leah Sara Shawlson, on Tuesday, February 24, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 4:00–7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice or to a local animal rescue organization in memory of David’s love for his dog, Baron.
